This was the first Women's Gathering I have hosted since becoming a mother and ugh. I have missed gathering with women like this. And of course it was held during a Total Lunar Eclipse.
We all brought homemade food and treats, and spent the afternoon lying out in the sun by the river. There is something special about bringing women together from all phases of life, and spending that time being free in nature.
Although I took some gorgeous images, I made sure we had plenty of time without a camera. I obviously love the beauty and aesthetic of women in nature, but I think the real beauty of gathering is enjoyed when the camera is put away. Creating this gathering felt like the coming together of what I started as a maiden and bringing a newer deeper version of it forward into motherhood.
